Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the FixYourAppliances website or mobile application (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Agreement”). If you do not accept these terms, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into contracts to use the Service.
Definitions
“Company” / “We” / “Us” / “FixYourAppliances” refers to the business operating at fixyourappliances.ca.
“You” / “User” / “Customer” refers to the person using the Service (requesting appliance repair).
“Worker / Technician” is the person who performs the repair service.
“Services” means the appliance repair or maintenance services provided via the platform or directly by the company.
Services & Disclaimer
FixYourAppliances acts as a platform to offer appliance repair and maintenance services in the Laval / surrounding areas.
We endeavor to provide skilled technicians and quality repairs for various appliances (refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, TV, dishwasher, stove, water heater, etc.). Fix Your Appliances
However, we are not responsible for defective parts supplied externally, or for damage due to pre-existing conditions, misuse, or external events.
Booking, Estimates & Pricing
When you request a service, we will provide an estimate (quote) before work begins.
You must accept the quote before the work proceeds.
Prices may include parts, labour, travel, and applicable taxes.
Payment must be made after service completion (or as agreed).
Payment & Refunds
Payment can be demanded in full once the job is marked complete.
Unless otherwise stated, payments are non-refundable after service has been rendered.
You are responsible for all applicable Canadian and provincial taxes.
Inspection & Warranty
After the work is done, you should inspect the appliance to ensure the service is completed properly.
If a labour warranty is offered, it covers only the workmanship for a limited period (not parts).
Warranty is void if damage results from misuse or handling by you after service.

Cancellation & Rescheduling
If you cancel or reschedule, you should notify us with enough notice (as per our cancellation policy).
Late cancellations may incur a fee (to cover technician travel/time).
User Obligations & Conduct
You agree to provide accurate, lawful information when requesting service.
You must allow safe access to the property and appliances.
You will not use the Service for fraudulent, illegal, or malicious purposes.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
Liability Limitation
FixYourAppliances is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of services.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for that particular service.
Intellectual Property
All content, images, text, logos on the website and app are owned by FixYourAppliances or its licensors.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without permission.
Dispute Resolution
Disputes should first be reported to info@fixyourappliances.ca or call 514-224-5142 within 3 business days of service.
If unresolved, disputes may proceed to binding arbitration per Canadian law.
You waive the right to jury trial or class action (except where prohibited by law).
Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting updates on the website.
Continued use of the Service after changes signifies acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province of Quebec (or the province where service is rendered).
Any invalid clause does not affect the remainder of the Terms.
